Summer School

A two week course in collaboration with NTU Short Courses. Students are taught basic photographic darkroom practises including; photograms, cyanotypes, shooting with film, b&w developing as well as b&w printing. The workshops culminate in an exhibition where students get to critique their own and other peoples work. Darkroom workshops then lead into the second week of Artist Book sessions. Students learn bookbinding techniques, fundamentals of graphic design such as designing typeface and posters as well as designing, printing and binding their own artist book.

Outcome:

Each student exhibits a selection of BnW prints.

Each student creates an Artist Book.
