Registering Your Artwork

Registering your artwork on the carousel compared to flat screen printing has a different process. It’s a lot more fine adjusting and ensuring that the design with lineup as accurately as possible.

So that the design prints straight, that it is correctly position on the garment and that the layers line up neatly.

Position your artwork neatly onto your garment. This will be where you will want the design to be printed.

Measuring will be involved so that the design is central and not wonky.

Registration marks will help to line up multiple layers.

Grab your coated screen and place it onto the carousel.

Fix into place as if you are going to print.

Using masking tape, you will stick your artwork to the bottom of the screen so that it is in the exact position you desire.

Once placed, take the screen off the carousel and take it over to the exposure unit.

Expose the screen.
